SENIOR ANDROID DEVELOPER

Experience : 5-8 years

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop advanced Android-based applications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define, design and deliver new features.
• Good understanding of the full mobile development cycle.
• Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
• Partner with UI and UX Designers, as well as Software Testers, to make sure each application is presentable and in perfect working order.
• Monitor application reviews to identify areas that require improvement.
• Implement measures to safeguard users’ data.
• Fix the bugs and improve the performances of the applications.
• Review the code before each application is published.
• Experience publishing high quality Android applications to the Google Play Store is a plus.



SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience with Android SDK, java, NDK, C++,Kotlin.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
• Thorough knowledge of the design, principles, models and best practices of the Android UI.
• Strong knowledge in Android architecture components and patterns like MVVM,MVC.
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
• Experience working with product management , UI/UX designers.
• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization.
• Understanding of Google’s Android design principles and interface guidelines.
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
